Student scholarship
The ASIS&T Student Scholarship was granted to Ruben Toledano O'Farrill. He is a doctoral student at the Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, originally coming from Mexico on a scholarship. Mr. O'Farrel participated in the Doctoral Forum at CoLIS 6.
This ASIS&T Student Scholarship was donated to support the international collaboration of LIS students and facilitate the inclusion of LIS research efforts from different regions around the world in CoLIS 6. This is fully in keeping with the mission of ASIS&T.
ASIS&T supports young scholars by providing a scholarship for one student. It includes full conference participation and 150 Euros for travel costs.
